REDIMO

Redimo vitia virtutibus. ~ Note: This saying is adapted from one of the controversiae of Seneca the Elder.

Sicut ager colitur, sic fructibus hic redimitur. ~ Note: Here is a more basic version of the saying: Ut ager colitur, ita dat fructus.

Tamquam si quis crucifigeret Paulum ut redimeret Petrum. ~ Note: Compare the English saying, "Robbing Peter to play Paul."
