Proverbs with ALIUS

Here are some proverbs which contain words ONLY on the Dickinson College Commentary Latin Core Vocabulary List. This set of proverbs features the adjective ALIUS (Lewis and Short).

Aliena nobis, nostra plus aliis placent.

Ab alio speres, alteri quod feceris.

Aetas alia ex alia oritur.

Alia aliis conveniunt.

Alia ex aliis mala oriuntur.

Alia ex aliis nascentur bella.

Alia tempora, alii mores.

Aliis si licet, tibi non licet.

Aliud alios decet.

Aliud est velle, aliud posse.

Non sibi, sed aliis.
