Proverbs with CREDO

Here are some proverbs which contain words ONLY on the Dickinson College Commentary Latin Core Vocabulary List. This set of proverbs features the verb CREDO (Lewis and Short).

Credendum est veteribus.

Experto credite.

Id quod volunt, credunt quoque.

Miranda canunt, sed non credenda, poetae.

Ne crede oculis; falli possunt.

Non est credendum omni verbo.

Non opus est verbis; credite rebus.

Oculis credendum potius quam auribus.

Quod fugere credas, saepe solet occurrere.
